Martha Campanile

Mrs. Campanile holds a Master’s Degree from Western Michigan University and a Bachelor’s Degree from Eastern Nazarene College in Massachusetts. She has completed extensive graduate work at the prestigious Westminster Choir College in Princeton, New Jersey and has participated in international choral conducting workshops in Martha Campanile Norway, France, Scotland and Austria. She appears in “Who’s Who
of American Teachers,” “Outstanding Elementary Teacher of America” and received recognition as a “Brookhaven Town Woman of the Year – in the Arts.” Mrs. Campanile is active in major organizations and supervises student vocal music teachers for SUNY College at Fredonia.

Mrs. Campanile presently serves as Choir Director and Organist of the United Methodist Church of Patchogue. She is retired from the Moriches Chorale Society, Sachem Central Schools and NYSSMA Adjudicator. Martha has worked with singers ages 3 – 95 and ensembles with 6 – 250 singers and skill levels from beginners to professionals. She is the former Director of the Youth Chorale for the Brookhaven Choral Festival. She enjoys participating in recitals as an accompanist and frequently shares music with several local churches as an organist and part time choral director. Martha maintains a private studio for voice and piano instruction. Although she loves to be involved in many musical events, her favorite monthly activity is the trip she takes to Vermont to visit her children and grandchildren. When asked about her relationship with BAFFA, Mrs. Campanile replied, “It is always a joy to share music and work with special friends.”
